Dr. Chiara Pelosi | Tenure Track Researcher | University Of Pisa | Italy

Dr. Chiara Pelosi is a Tenure-Track Researcher (RTT) at the Department of Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry, University of Pisa, where she focuses on physical chemistry, thermal analysis, calorimetry, and deep eutectic solvents. She earned her Ph.D. in Chemistry and Materials Science through a joint research collaboration between the University of Pisa and the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research, Mainz, Germany. Her research has significantly contributed to the understanding of protein-polymer conjugates, biodegradable polymers, green solvents, and cultural heritage materials, integrating sustainability and innovation in material science. Dr. Pelosi has published 30 peer-reviewed scientific papers, garnering 371 citations from 301 documents, with an h-index of 13 and an i10-index of 15, reflecting her growing scientific influence in the field. She has presented at 20 national and international conferences and serves as co-guest editor for the Elsevier journal Thermal Advances. Her ongoing projects include ArtDECOW  and AGM for CuHe , focusing on collagen-based and cultural heritage materials. Recognized for her excellence, she received the Lucci Prize and the INSTM/Polymer Award for her outstanding research contributions. She has established collaborations with leading international institutions such as the Institute Laue-Langevin, University of Twente , and Center for Blood Research . Dr. Pelosi is a member of several professional organizations, including the Italian Chemical Society and AICAT/GICAT, and actively contributes to advancing sustainable chemistry and materials science education.
