Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zhengjun Feng is an environmental and soil scientist specializing in the ecological utilization of coal-based solid wastes, solid waste–derived soil conditioners, soil carbon and nitrogen cycling, greenhouse gas emissions, and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi–assisted remediation. His research advances sustainable soil improvement, ecological restoration, carbon sequestration, and agricultural productivity while mitigating heavy metal and salinity risks. He has developed scalable soil conditioner technologies supported by patents and field applications, and has contributed to international collaborative research.
