Assoc. Prof. Dr. Niloufar Dorosti, an Iranian chemist , is currently an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Chemistry, Lorestan University, Iran. She obtained her B.Sc. in Applied Chemistry from Isfahan University of Technology , her M.Sc. in Inorganic Chemistry from Alzahra University , and her Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from Tarbiat Modares University . With extensive academic and research experience, she has served as Assistant Professor at Pyame Noor University and Lorestan University before being promoted to Associate Professor in 2021. Her research interests encompass phosphorus compounds, lanthanide (III) and organotin (IV) complexes, and phosphorus-based nanomaterials, alongside theoretical studies, with applications in biological activity, hydrogen storage, and heavy metal removal. She has successfully supervised 25 M.Sc. and 7 Ph.D. students, contributing to scientific training and capacity building. Dr. Dorosti has authored 26 Scopus-indexed publications, with 312 citations from 253 documents and an h-index of 10, while Google Scholar shows 418 citations and an h-index of 11 (Scopus ID: 55409809700). Her recent publications highlight mercury removal using nanocomposites, graphene oxide Schiff base systems, anticancer-active tin (IV) phosphoramide complexes, and lanthanum carbacylamidophosphate complexes, combining both experimental and theoretical approaches. Through her innovative research and mentorship, she has established herself as a significant contributor to inorganic and nanomaterials chemistry with impactful applications in environmental remediation, medicine, and energy storage.
